Dushanbe, April 16, 2025. The regular meeting of the Intersectoral Coordination Council on School Feeding was held at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The meeting was attended by Muzaffarzoda Badridin, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, relevant officials, and members of the Council. Key issues related to school feeding were discussed.

The session reviewed the implementation progress of the State Program for the Development of School Feeding in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2022–2027, addressing both current challenges and future prospects in providing healthy nutrition to children and adolescents.

Council members also presented their proposals to improve relevant provisions of the draft Education Code of the Republic of Tajikistan aimed at enhancing the organization and regulation of school feeding in preschool, general, and special education institutions.

The meeting also covered preparations for monitoring visits to educational institutions across the country, the organization of off-site council meetings, and the International School Feeding Forum, scheduled for November 2025.
